There are way too many games that do not give any information about this matter, which may cause the game to be unplayable for some ppl.
What I am asking is that does this game support resolutions 1280x720 or 800x600. I am using mostly my computer which is attached to widescreen HD-Ready television so its important that I wont see errors like "This game only runs in resoution 1024x786 or above"
Theres nothing else wrong with that resolution except the vertical value is above 720 which isnt supported in many HD televisions.

The Screenshots of the game are 800x600, can I play with that resolution, and what do I have to do to set up that resolution. (cannot change it ingame since screen goes black and shows no signal when the resolution goes over the Horizontal:1280 or Vertical:720

Is the default resolution 800x600, or atleast a in a window so I can lower it?
(in a window the game doesnt change screen resolution so its fine, and I can in most chases set the lower resolution value from there)

I think This is so important thing that it should read on system requirements page.

I am not entirely sure of your setup.  Never tried it before.  The game runs in both 600x800 and 1280x720.  I believe the defulat mode is 1280x720.

Maybe this helps... I am not sure. I have a wide screen laptop.  I am not sure of the exact deminsions, but I am able to run pdo in 1280x720 in window mode.  This means I have edges around the pdo window where you see my window background.  Maybe that might help with large screen by playing in window mode?

I love the larger monitor b/c I can play pdo in window mode and still see my music, ventrilo or msn windows.

I was unaware of the existence of games which don't let you play in 800x600. Which game was it that didn't?

I doubt default resolution is never going to be a widescreen resolution, but if it runs in your HD-ready? television It is likely that its 800x600. If you dont have Full HD tv that is

There are many games that dont support any other than 1024x768 mainly these kind of games that arent fully 3D (probably easier to implement more resolution settings to 3D games unlike 2,5D games. And I cant really talk about games but for example mecha mmorpg from Tq was 1024x768 only. (not telling names since its forbidden to talk about other games in some forums)

Yeah I love my 32":s tv too, some games are really neat to be played with it not to mention movies and the horizontal space that I currently have on my desktop

Imo there should always, ALWAYS be an external setup file where you can configure resolution and other settings. Many games have default 1024x768 that can be changed to 800x600, but what good is it if its made imbossible to access even the options -_-"
The ammount of widescreen tv players is increasing rapidly among hd televisions, this is something pc games should support too.

I am happy to tell you, that the game runs really well on HD-ready television.
the default resolution is 800x600 which is great choise for every game.
Even the fullscreen works perfectly and looks real nice

Ok, if I understand you correctly, you are asking if you can this game at a lower windows resolution?  Sorry if I'm getting this wrong but I'll through out dumb info any way.

When you log into the game you hit the ESC key to bring up an option menu where you can set the game to run Full Screen or in a Window Screen and the resolution can be 1024x768 or 800x600 -I'll explain this just in case.

Full Screen
-This means that the game takes up the entire window with no minimize (underscore), restore (square), or close (the X) buttons at the top of the screen and no task bar at the bottom of the screen. You need to hit the windows button (between the CTRL and ALT buttons) to minimize the game.

Window Screen
-Obviously the opposite of Full Screen as there are minimize (underscore), restore (square), or close (the X) buttons at the top of the screen and there is a task bar at the bottom of the screen. In this mode you can also move the window around like any other window. Also in this mode the pixels are slightly compressed as you can see it looks a little fuzzy.

Now, this game isn't set up for wide screen HD systems but you can run it in windows mode with no problems on a HD screen, and it'll probably look better on HD anyway.

So you'll probably want to keep the default mode of 1024x768 in window mode for your setup.

Sry if I have been confusing

I was mainly asking:
1. Can I play this game in resolution 800x600.?
2. Is the resolution default 800x600?
3. If not, is the default in window mode?
4. Any errors for lower resolutions than 1024x768?

Answers are (now that I have tryed)
1. Yes you can
2. Yes it is
3. default is 800x600 in window mode
4. There isnt errors for lower resolution than 1024x768 since game supports 800x600

I was asking this because the vertical resolution limit in 720p HD-TV:s is 720px which is lower than the one that monitors use 768px. This causes screens to go black and show No signal, makeing it imbossible to play.
However 600px is lower than 720px so I can play with that resolution just fine.

Rather not use 1024x768 since it goes above the limit of my tv, so I would probably be unable to see the bottom part of the window, which has most of the ingame functions so.. Fullscreen works best for me (800x600)
