Ok I played quite a while yesterday and made myself like 4 green named items. Many say in older threads that these should glow?
However I find that mine doesnt glow at all. Are there other requariments for the glow than just green name? (Items are around lvl 14-19)

Also I understand that greens have usualy the higher defence (since they are usualy forged from items having better normal values than normal) But are there any other things I should be taking note to? And are there any other way to get better ratings for to the equipment than just find few greens mats (of own lvl or so) and compine them with some blues?

or is this still mystery to even the most experienced players?

Make a green or blue item from holy beast materials and it will glow.

Some high lvl monsters that I have yet to encounter?

special materials given in TQs and dropped by mob bosses.
Sometimes humanoids drop them (not sure about this one but I swear I get some in my bag when killing them)

Ok now encountered another problem which isnt really well informed on the site (for some reason)
where can I deposit my gold?

yes, human mobs do drop soul mats. And there's no place in game for you to deposit your gold. You can make anotheer character on a different account and transfer your gold over though.
