I had Ice Quake for Blinding Staff and I bought an Overwritten Letter and unlearnt it.
I then learnt Swashing Force but the effect I'm getting is still a freeze attack...

First pic is Iakul fighting the 2-headed demon, but it's normal attacks are already slow to begin with so I couldn't really tell which effect it was...

Second pic is Iakul fighting the Snakehead King and getting the freeze effect.

Third pic I'm running away to see if it's the freeze effect affecting the Snakehead King.

I didn't have any items equipped that cause status effects when I fought them.
