Questions related to materials

OK we all know that most of the games mobs drop mat(material) and there are a lot of quality differences in them. But heres this thing I have been wondering, that are there differences between of 2 same lvl same element monsters.

The thing I am asking is, that if I want to make the best bossible low lvl weapon which mob drops the best weapon mat for increasing attack. Or are they all the same and the stats in the mat are just randomly calculated so that only the level of the mob counts not the mob type.

(for those who dont know what I mean by mob. Mob = monsters/animals you fight to increase your lvl)

Well that's a difficult question because honestly no one in the game knows the real way to make gear: some make it by chance, some have their own pattern, some ready the posts written in this forum. But as far as low lvl weapons go you really don't need to start making gear until lvl 35+ roughly.

The no element weapon you start with in your inventory is pretty much better then any in the game at your lvl. As you lvl up you can gain the No Ribbon weapon which is again better then most out there. Around lvl 35 or so you can either start looking for a new weapon or make a new one, or if you good enough to get your rep to lvl one you get to the next ribbon gear and go from there.

So I'm not sure why you'd really want low lvl weapons. But if you are just looking for low lvl mats to test then while your in the game press your M button and look under the monster list for each element.

Heh, I have made my gear since lvl 15, I dont really like the rep thingy, since quests only give so little of it and I am not patient enough to grind on element realm to get those freaking stones (increased drop rate for lvl 2-4 ones, please? pretty please?)

I am lvl 41 atm and I still have selfmade gear and some that have been made by others and they seem to work rather decently, although my image of better is limited.
Also got lvl 5 armor making skill at this lvl helps a bit when making armors.

I think making own armor instead of buying those that need rep is a lot better choise, since rep is horribly hard to get (expect from TQ? never been on 1 yet )

The problem with the no ribbon stuff is that you can make better armor and you'll end up growing out of it before it breaks and you spent all that gold on it. Also by the time you can get enough rep to wear it's already too low for your level. So make your own armor, use crafting booths in Sun City and try to find crafters 2 levels above your material level for higher chance of making good items. Like the noobie quiz quest from mr omniscient says, user created items are better quality than anything you can buy from npc's or that drop from mobs. And always keep backups for when you're items break. I was stuck without a weapon when I was a low level and it'll never happen again. LOL

Happy Gaming!

So no1 has taken the time to observe how the mat from different mobs differ from each other?

Like do Panters hide give more defence than eagles feathers?
and Eagles claws give more attack than panters teeth/claw?

This information could really be helpfull for even high lvl ppl who want to have their weapons with highest bossible attack for their lvl and highest bossible defence for their armor as well?

I am not asking about secrets of forging, I am asking about where can I get the best bossible material that holds the highest def attack or elemental def or even special bonuses like deflect increase attack or def etc.

-- fire
Level 21 Eagle
Level 21 Leopard
Level 21 Fast Leopard
Level 21 Macaque
-- water
Level 21 Lizard
Level 21 Crocodile
Level 21 Fox
-- earth
Level 21 Tigerman
Level 21 Bear King
Level 21 Bear
-- metal
Level 21 Tiger
-- wood
Level 21 Wolf
Level 21 Newt
Level 21 Wild Bull

not many different lvl 21 mobs?

yes it varies a lot with even same mobs, but I wonder if theres bossibility that some mobs have higher max stat for some stats

for example fox skins might have MIN 3.5 def and MAX 4.2 def
and Tigers might have MIN 3.7 MAX 4,5 def

If theres this kind of variations I think they maybe vital for maximising the potential of forgin items.
