This is my opinion only....

1) no, its not impolite....since he/she asked in the first place
2) yes i risk a good drop...but that does not matter coz at least u helped and since ure higher lvl than him i think it would be ok coz he's still needs those stuffs for him to be strong.
3) no, coz he have not done anything wrong to you.... he just wants to join u in killing the mob....
4) yes its kill stealing....especially if you just butt in without saying a word.

hi grey  I thk its very impolite  for any 1  to just atk.  ppl  should  ask  1st.
If  grouped  thy should  just leave party  so  u can get the drops you want.
Their are only so many Bosses (Red Name), so for  exp./quests  we  should  share.

The only scenario where I see that the person asking you to party against the mob has a legitimate reason was if he needed to kill the mob for a quest.  Some quests, as we all know, require the killing of a boss mob or picking up a quest item from that mob after killing it.  Some of these bosses are tough for the levels these quest become available at.

Yesterday, I was fighting the bandit leader in Woo County for the "Find the Dog" quest.  Someone was nearby and after I started attacking the humanoid boss, he started attacking too.  I knew that I would get the loot afterwards (was causing more damage than the other guy), but sent a party invite figuring he may be doing it for the quest.  This person didn't ask beforehand, so I guess I'm too nice lol.  He didn't accept the party invite.  I wouldn't do what that other person did, but instead organize a party or bring along a high level buddy (for example dave) to help with the quest beforehand.
