In another game my char was Royalite...
The other guys made a bunch of chars with Royal@#$# and other names I can't repeat. The best one was something a little noob called me on accident Royalice

hello I has also same rehearsing loam as royality however in this game  it over a few fakes of my name a player faket my name and writes  somtimes stupidly things in the Chat it is also noob:  thus spell not the wrong

Sounds a bit unfair that if someone is new to the game and  without realising it they make a character where the variants on the name are common or that name happens to be similar to someone elses: for example  "mave."   that is a name that as far as i can tell is in no way offensive .... then that individual who created the similar name gets banned for no reason at all.. kudos to you guys on these good ideas for attracting new players, keep up the good work >>

Dont worry , those ppl were cursing and stalkin in world chat that why they got banned , i hope that all will understand that we want friendly comunity and every one to enjoy playing and stay far from cursing and such bad things

yeah i had one of these people make one also  it was named Caddyy     
and to Lord08 it wasnt that a person made a character named Mave.   it was that there was already a character named Mave  the new one just added a period at the end and was trying to give the real mave a bad name.

ok so let's get this straight:

first i thought everspring said something like this: you can create chars with blatantly vulgar or suggestive language in their char name but that's ok as long as you don't defame anyone  BUT if you insult someone by creating a char name that is similar then acting up towards them in world chat then you would get banned...yes?

But it doesn't make sense....so you could talk in a profane manner / swear like a sailor in world chat but if you do not have a similar name to someone else then it's ok....?  

and you could create chars with offensive names like these and just sit in sun city and even go hunting and not get banned...?





are they offensive / vulgar / suggestive char names? do they give other people a bad name? would they be banned?

ok maybe i gave silly examples that came from logging in the game for 10 min or so.. my point is, i'm not trying to be a smarta** , i think the opening post is deliberately vague and should be changed to say what it really means.

I agree that the char with F--- should have their name modified.

Hard_One is borderline as hard could refer to being tough and not the other meaning.

The wording in Ever's post could be better discribed as those who make chars to impersonate, harass and insult another player will have that char ban.  Typically those chars are low level and just make to cause grief to another player.  The GMs can stop that if they feel it hurts the community.

i think the thread is clear , if you have any issue with any player dont try to jump in and make stories from nothing , such offensive names and childnech actings wont be accepted and players targeted with such names have the right to complaine so the GM react and make limits to that , i ask you again to not lead it to another long discusion out of the real subject.

i thought the point of these forums is for people to feel free to discuss things and express different viewpoints of an issue or subject, at least Royalite understood the point I was making. by the way i sent a pm everspring and now i had a reply back about offensive name making in game... SO discussion closed and now you can go back to your dead forum where nobody debates anything...lol.

I think you brought up a good point.  However, it was interpreted another way.

And I think your right the wording could of been " impersonating charcter names" instead of " offensive charcters".  B/c the F--- char shouldn't be allowed in game either.  Glad you talked to Everspring and got the answer you were looking for.
