This is driving me crazy!! I have tried the Prince Peculiar quests numerous times, only to be stopped short by the equipment collection quests- they never seem to work out! I've spend thousands in gold and hours in farming trying to figure out the right combination that would produce the garment the prince wants, and tried to give him the ones I've made, but it never works!!! I go through all that trouble to get to the end and not get the reward- Please help me! What are the tricks that make it work? I've searched for posts and hints on the forum, and found nothing that helps- Maybe some hints for this particular part of the quest would help many others going through the same thing....

Ignore the names. Just give him the equipment with the class and level that he asks for. Eg. if he asks for lvl 54 wiz robes, just give him lvl 54 wiz robes.

well the names help me find out what element to use to make the equipment out of.
Use the H and click on the monsters tab.  Look for the level you need and go through the name of the equipment asked for with the different names of the mobs.

I'm pretty sure you don't need the same name. I have handed in same level and class equipment with different names from what the prince asked before...

Yup, Iakul is right.  All you need to do is have the same level mats.

Not for this particular one- I've farmed a variety of mats and made four different robes, and he won't take any of them!!!!!!!

Could you post what the prince wants (name,level, class) and what you have made.

It's also possible that the prince can't "detect" your equipment. You'll have to use the auto-rearrange tab at the bottom. I have had cases where I talked to the prince, couldn't turn in the item, rearranged them and talked to the prince and turned the item in.

Yup, he is very picky about that.  Silly Prince!  I usually make sure I don't have any equipment that could confuse him in the first page of my inventory.  Then, I place what he needs in the first slot in the first page of the inventory.  This usually allows him to take it.
