[Suggestion] Teams in Bayer

Teams in Bayer

As most people know if they go to Bayer, sometimes you need to create teams with members of other guilds.  However, even though they are on your team, you can still attack teammates from other guilds.  When clicking around, you can, by mistake, team kill someone .  Area of Effect skills, for example, attack teammates not in your guild.  In addition, priests can't heal those from other guilds, despite being on the same team.

I propose an overall solution that addresses this issue.

Each leader of a guild will have the ability to label certain guilds as "allies."  This will go both ways.  Meaning... if Leader of Guild A indicates that Guild B is an ally, the leader of Guild B must acknowledge that this is the case.  Once Guilds A and B are allies, their guild members will interact with each other just as they can interact with their own guild members.  Thus, they can't attack one another, and their priests can heal members from the ally guild.  This option could be made available as a new tab in the Guild window.  The leader can accept/propose alliances, and all guild members can view their current allies.

If this seems too drastic, fixing interactions with team-mates in Bayer (no team-killing people from other guilds, and priests can heal anyone on the team) would be nice.

it would be nice to have allies in bayer and when your guild is allied with another regardless of team or not you don't have to worry about attacking them.

But this current setup is centered around guilds alone and not with allies.  Kinda crummy I agree.

i fully agree it should be in the guild options to ally with other guilds like where the nominating area is

well its sopose to be every guild for them selves but everyone allys n teams up to create mass numbers to gain the benefits of bayer and screw legit guilds.....sorry

In war, you usually don't see one party killing everyone right?  I think it will add a nice addition to the current Bayer system.  Also, even if the allies idea doesn't go through, still being able to attack or not heal those from other guilds that are in the same team as you doesn't make sense.

I'd say the alliance is a good idea for later on, if, and that's a big IF, the guilds actually start battling one another. Right now though every guild seems to be allied with one another already and none really have the whole "heal each other" problem.

Now if guild actually battled against one another then alliances would be nice but for now everyone's jumping on the alliance band wagon because, let's face it, all the guilds now are scared to battle one another in fear of losing something. Guess the greed's got their souls.... mwahahahahaha....

All you need to take a town is a large enough group that can take the totem down fast.  Taking an unoccupied area of Bayer is a whole other story

By the way, the intended topic of this thread wasn't to say that independent guilds can't do well in Bayer.
I wanted to suggest that at least teaming with other guilds could work better (not being able to tk teammates and healing other members from guilds).  Having the ability to designate allies was thrown out there, not meant to say that you needed allies in Bayer.
