Ok well I think its about time I posted my discoveries of this since I get so many *halp me craft pms* In this guide I'll explain formulas how to target particular light blue mods and special mats and where to find them. I'm doing this all from memory so I'll be editing and updating as I go. I'll also be posting pics of what formulas known to gen best. But just remember one thing...there is no 100% sure fire way of making a particular light blue. Only ways on increasing the chance of getting them.
Elements -
Taken from sa7ers guide
Ok the way crafting is based around the elements is how they interact with each other.
fire - earth - metal - water- wood
fire makes earth, earth makes metal ect....
So By using elemental mats that are next to each other in the above gen table they will always produce better gear than just random mats.
So for example....craft with fire and earth or fire and wood. Earth and metal or earth and fire. Metal and water or metal and earth. water and wood or water and metal and wood and fire or wood and water.
But you can do more than just using m's n g's.
M = main element
G = Generate element
exp - metal/water/metal/water
g/m/g/m
or
exp - water/metal/water/metal
m/g/m/g
The easiest way to remember this is when you put your first mat in think....what element makes this element?
But also you can use bg to enhance and put more variety of dark blue stats into your gear. bg is the opposite of g for the element.
For example
weapon - fire-wood-fire-wood-fire-earth
= m-g-m-g-m-bg
You can mix it up and try new combinations. I'm only listing the formulas I know work for me but there alot I've yet to discover
Mat Placement -
When placing mats you want to go in a clockwise motion starting from the top and going clock wise.
Also be sure when crafting to use a crafter thats 2 lvl higher than the lvl mats you are using for best results
as of right now high lvl crafting is hard without gms not boothing anymore and it kinda puts a dent a new players since the oldies got to make such great gear and its so damn hard for us to make without lvl 10 crafters
if you are using lvl 7 mats use lvl 9 crafter
Also be sure to use the crafter with the most gold hammers... 9 gold hammers is the best time to use there booth. Its better to wait for 9 gold hammers than 8 gold 1 silver ect
Formulas -
Ok here is my own personal list of formulas I use but like I said expirementing can sometime leads to great results be these seem to work best for me.
Helm - m-g-m-g-m
Armor - m-g-m-g-bg
ring - m-m-g-g or m-g-m-m
necky - m-g-m-g or m-m-g-g or
gaunts - m-m-g or m-g-m
boots - g-m-m or g-m-g or m-g-g
weapon - m-g-m-g-m-bg
exp items made using the above formula
Weapons using m-g-m-g-m-bg (This form has a high chance of producing light blue +attack and socs)

wood-fire-wood-fire-wood-water

earth-fire-earth-fire-earth-metal
metal-water-metal-water-metal-earth
Armor - m-g-m-g-bg

The armor was fire-earth-fire-earth-metal
The ring was metal-metal-earth-earth
I have no screenie but by using wood-water-wood-water-wood has a high chance of making Dodge % light blue
Ring - m-m-g-g

- fire-fire-earth-earth
necky - m-m-g-g

- metal-metal-water-water
By using metal as my main I got lucky and gen'd a dar light blue mod along with my dark blue dar mod ;D

- water-metal-water-metal
By using as water as my main It gen'd a PLus Mp light blue. using wood-wood-water-water makes + hp light blue for rings and mp for neckys (good chance %)
helm - m-g-m-g-m

- wood-water-wood-water-wood gens dodge% also works with boots n armor using wood n water
boots m-g-m

earth-metal-earth gens resist charge, damage reduce or def light blues
Gaunts - m-g-m

earth-metal-earth
Ok have you noticed how depending on what type of major you use the light blue mod I got? So if your wanting a particular light blue mod use the element thats known for that mod and sooner or later you will get it.
Heres a short list of the best light blues to get imo
Wood - dodge, blind to defense
water - +mp
Fire - dispel evil, attack speed
earth - resist charge, damage reduce, strike rate
metal - deadly attack, double attack rating, negative resistance, resistance in the state of metal
Ok hopefully by now you should have a basic idea on how to start getting some good mods out of crafting. But one thing i want to point out is that instead of just using regular blue or green mats wait and scount out the mats with special stats to make the gear even better. Particular mobs drop special stats depending on element and I'll list a few I know off the top of my head
lvl 81,88 hachet drops metal attack chance
lvl 63 evil fox drops freeze attacks chance
lvl 76 Stone golems drop sluggishness attack chance
lvl 88 Sparkling 2 headed birds in snow town drop venomous attacks chance as do tree goblins from tq
I'll ad more later and update soon as I'm getting tired of typing...if you have any questions looking for particular mats or anything feel free to pm/email in the game or here. ign:glowpole
Happy crafting
