what gems to insert?

Hi guys, i'm a fire paladin. Just wondering what gems would be good to insert into my equipment? I was thinking of having 2x diamonds for my weapon, but that would cost a bomb! any alternatives? i'm also thinking of putting +dodge gems into my armour, would it be good?

well +dodge is pointless as it doesn't work. (i don't know why) but use the ambers for the dodge % which does work. diamonds are pointless to me your better off with agates or emearlds
