In WinXP the PrintScreen button works in game and saves the pictures to a ScreenShot subfolder in it's installation directory (Default: \Program Files\Phoenix Dynasty Online\ScreenShot\). It's Vista users that are saying the game doesn't take screenshots for them

Really? That's weird... Guess that's another bug for them to look into.

Yes, it must be a Vista issue as far as having trouble taking screenshots is concerned.  I still have the same problem.

How to remove sounds COMPLETELY from the game?

If you have trouble turning off sounds, and you would like to listen to some sweet tunes, but it annoys that sometimes the game sounds just disturb the music, here is a workaround for the issue. I'm not sure how "legal" this is but it might help some players, of course until the sound bugs get fixed.

1. go to: "PDO Install Folder"\Res for example: C:\Program Files\Phoenix Dynasty Online\Res
2. find the file named ResSnd
3. Rename it, to make it safe rename it into something similar, like: ResSnd1
4. start your client.


Upon loading the client will give you an error about not having DirectSound, etc etc. Press the okay button.

Presto no sounds
