Slaying diabolic monsters with their keen swords, devouring malicious thugs with their arcane magic, all PDO warriors swear to strive for a common noble cause, that is, to purge evil plaguing this land. Their gallant deeds and battle-worn gears bespeak the unyielding spirit of pursuing the cause. Even when overmatched, they are sure to rise up again to unleash their wrath on the evil.
Although unswerving in their cause, the warriors are encroached by the feeling of growing tired to fight on their own. It inflicts a sense of loneliness and doubt upon them, weakening their perseverance and poisoning their souls.
Warriors are now in bad need of their lovers, who are the most intimate and reliable comrades filling them with the feeling of home and certainty. Under such an unshakable oath, surely they will shatter the darkness together and finally bring light to this ravaged land.
In patch 7205, the marriage system will be integrated into PDO. It enables a male character and a female character to get married. So in this patch you can do quests and kill mobs with your in-game lover. Also, in your grand wedding ceremony, you can wear traditional Chinese wedding dress, receive warm congratulation and even attract envious attention! With the wedding ceremony approaching the end, you and your lover will ascend to the Magpie Bridge, the bridge symbolizing the eternal love between wife and husband in an old Chinese myth. It also blesses you, wishing you and your lover will be together till the end of the world.
Procedure of the marriage system:
A male player and a female player should group up and talk with the God of Marriage in Sun City. The group leader receives a petition for the "Accepting Love" quest. If the other group member accepts, the two players receive the "Love Quest". The God of Marriage will ask each player to find a Love Acknowledgement Jade.
Buy the Love Acknowledgement Jades from the Phoenix Point Merchant.
The lovers should talk the God of Marriage in Sun City with the Love Acknowledgement Jade. If both members have the Love Acknowledgement Jade, the group leader should give the quest "To be lovers" to the other member. If he or she agrees, the "Love Quest" is complete. They lose their Love Acknowledgement Jade and receive Love Acknowledgement Rings.
The lovers should group up and the group leader should talk with the God of Marriage. The group leader gives "Accepting Engagement" quest to the other player. If he or she agrees, they receive the "Engagement Quest". The God of Marriage will ask a love-related question to each of them.
The lovers should answer the question asked by the God of Marriage.
If the answer is wrong, they may talk with him again.
If the answer is right, they may continue with the quest.
After answering the question, the two players should group up. The group leader should give the "Engagement Request" to the other player. If he or she agrees, the "Engagement Quest" is complete. They are officially engaged.
Group up and talk with the Matchmaker in Sun City. The group leader should give the "Marriage Request" to the other player. If she or he agrees, they receive the "Marriage Quest". The Matchmaker will ask them to dress their Wedding Outfits.
Buy Wedding Outfits from the Phoenix Point Merchant. There are three pieces in a Wedding Outfit: Wedding Coronet, Wedding Dress and Wedding Boots. After buying them, change the textures of your currently equipped items with them.
After equipping the Wedding Outfits, the lovers should talk once more with the Matchmaker. The Matchmaker will examine their outfits (Both players must equip all three parts of their respective Wedding Outfits).
If they fail the examination, the Matchmaker will tell the players to find the Phoenix Point Merchant and buy authentic Wedding Outfits.
If they pass the examination, then they may get married.
The lovers should find the Wedding Official to enter the Wedding Hall.
Finally, choose a Wedding Hall
Normal Wedding Hall: Free entry, provides fifty invitations.
Luxurious Wedding Hall: Free entry, provides two hundred invitations.
