while doing my own elemental quest, I encountered some players having troubles with that quest. So I thought maybe a little guidance for those, doing the quest for the first time, could be helpfull.

If not, sorry for the waste of space ^^

Ok, you need to go to the palace of five elements to pass this test. Go to Luoyang and talk to An Qisheng - he will teleport you inside. What a surprise then to find him there again ^^ Re-talk to him to update the quest.

He wants you to find keys to treasures and he wants you to start with the metal one. You get the keys by killing the according mobs - for metal there are porcupines, wood bulls, fire maquaces, water lizards and earth boars. As soon as you have your first key (metal) take it to where the treasures are. Just walk around to find them (hint: you need to jump to get to them).

The meaning of this quest, is not only to get you an element but also to teach you how they influence each other. Now how do you open a treasure and especially how do you know which one. The keys and treasures should show you which element destroies the other. So - having a metal key in your hands, you need to open the treasure of the element which is being destroyed by metal. I will not tell you all of them - that would be a spoiler and as well not helping you to learn the elements. So i just tell you the nex one ;)

With the metal key - you open the wood box. Then you need to go and hunt wood mobs to get their key. Open the according treasure and so on until you are done.

Then return to An Qisheng - he teleports you to the 2nd level of the palace. There you find altars. Here we are now, teaching you just the opposit - meaning what element supports which ;)

So start with the metal altar - put the book of the according element, which supports metal on it to be able to go on. If you are done with all of them, go to the teleport stone that brings you back to, guess who? Right, our old pal An Qisheng ;)

He then asks you to chose your element - but chose it wisely since it cannot be changed that easily afterwards ;)

So I hope this is a little help for everyone doing that quest for the first time.

I did that quest last night and it was okay, a little challenging, but now I have to kill 50 fairys, 10 of each element.) and DANG it's hard, then again I am a water priest.

which mobs drop which keys?

you must kill the mob of the correct element to drop the correct key.

1. Kill Porcupines (metal)
2. Open the chest that uses the metal key (chests are in the upper left corner of the map and you must jump to the platform they are on across from the Lizards).

After that, you just go killing a mob, collecting the key, and so on so forth.
Wild Bull = Wood
Wild Boar = Earth
Lizard = Water
Macaque = Fire
