Due to a fair amount of problems having come about simply because of log in issues, I have complied a list of FAQ and the answers to these problems, to create a guide for members who have problems logging in or loading the game. This is seperate to the FAQ gameplay guide by TriMoon because it is being used directly for technical issues and support. It will continually be updated when need be. Hopefully this will help members find answers faster.

Firstly please check that your system has the minimum requirements to play this game. The requirements are as follow made available by Lonewolf.

Q) I cant create my character what is wrong?
A) Please make sure you have chosen a village to be born in, which you will see a tiny map to click on with two villages while creating your character. For a diagram please refer to the following thread: http://pdobbs.enjoymmo.com/thread-103-1-9.html

Q) I have chosen the birth village, given the character a name, checked the class but when I click "ok" I cannot create my character, is there something wrong with my game?
A) If you have chosen birth village and all details are in, make sure that your character name has no spacebar in it as having a space in the name will cause the character not to be created. You are however allowed "~" or "-" just NO space!

Q) I continually experience disconnections but why?
A) It may in-fact be that your anti-virus or fire-walls please check that, that is not what is causing the game to crash. Also it may be that the game is just undergoing a problem which will tend to happen throughout Closed Beta and if that is the case, we ask for your patience.

Q) I am experiencing one of the following problems:

• Game say’s I am already logged on
• I cant create a new character but have spare spots to create characters
• “Server is unavailable” or “Area is currently unavailable”
• Character selection is showing faulty data
• Cant interact with the NPCs
• Cant interact with the monsters, not receiving or dealing any damage.

A) These are all sign’s that the server has gone down, please look throughout the forum there may be a thread that has been created to inform other members. In most cases the game would be back up within an hour to two hours if you are experiencing longer then you may have actually come across a problem at which after that time and no other reports we ask you to report in bug section with full details please check that the following question is not related before reporting though. (List of problems made available by Darnell)

Q) I have a problem starting the game. I click shortcut option for PDO it opens to a white screen, after awhile the screen changes, I then click enter so I can connect and that’s when I receive the message “server address is incorrect or server is down for maintenance” .
A) Click the advanced option under cancel then try connecting using the 6x.xxx.xxxx IP (Thank you to Neobody for the answer.

Q) I am having troubles in registration, do you have any idea what could be the problem?
A) At the current time registration using an email address must not exceed 32 characters this includes the @hotmail, @yahoo etc. If you have a problem after trying to apply with a email with less then 32 characters then it is advised that you PM Engputer so he can find the cause of the problem.
SIDE NOTE: If you still have problems registering and your account is less then 32 characters try using a email with less then 20 characters and limited underscores where possible as this will solve the problem.

Q) I have downloaded everything right but I am still unable to log in, I also receive the message “invalid/wrong password” I use window’s vista also, would that be a problem?
A) Some of our window’s vista members have encountered problems please check this thread for a certain download which should solve your problem. http://pdobbs.enjoymmo.com/thread-552-1-1.html

Q) I enter my game ID and my password then start to load the game, it states that it is submitting user information but it then shuts down and doesn’t open, what could be the problem?
A) If you are using windows vista it may be related to the above post so please follow the link given previously and download the attachment, that should hopefully fix your problem.

If you have experienced a problem that is not mentioned in the above list please either post about it below so that it can be reported appropriatly along with a screenshot OR follow the instructions below that have been created by Engputer to report directly to the PDO staff for a case by case solution;

If you have troubles when logging into our game, please help us by finding out the problems.

First, please locate the log folder in your installation folder of PDO.

Secondly, please zip the files in log folder.

Thridly, please email the zip file to pdoservice@enjoymmo.com

Fourth, please also provide the screenshot of error message to us.

Fifth, please provide your account log in ID and character name.

I have registered prior to downloading the and installing the game client and patch 7102.  I launched the client and click "Enter".  The client says connecting (61.xxx server) and shows me the word "News Bulletion".  However, both the upper and lower windows show broken internet links "webpage cannot be found...".  What happened?  I don't even see a game environment that allows me to log on!

Please help!

I think you have encountered the problem explained in the very last dot point by the sound of it. Keep clicking enter because I to see both internet parts as broken links. Enter, enter, enter and then enter again. Within roughly 5 clicks it should change screen you will then need to keep clicking enter a further few more times until it comes to a point showing "Account ID, password and verify code"

hi, i got this problem.
i registared in the main site of the game then i did autopatch in the game and then when i click Enter it says i need to registar. So it opens me a korean site. that i need to fill the ID, Pass etc.. well i did registrations there too. and still the same problem.

After downloading, installing, patching, and attempting to log in, i get: Data exchange error between the Client and the List Server occurred. Please try later or download the latest Client patch in the official website.
I don't see it saying anywhere that the server is down, and i'm patched.

If you check the main forum, this is something we're all experiencing right now. All we can do is wait until word comes from the GMs. They might be pulling a weekend shift to update the server earlier than anticipated.

just installed and patched the game, server status says its good and when I go to finish making my character i get a "Invalid Connection" (1020) error. what do i need to do ? thanks

I get a error when I load into the game, when I try to enter the server it come upo with a wierd error message made up of symbols. It did once come up with an actual error that said that I didnt have a 3D accelorator compatible video card or something.... My card is a 7900 so I doubt that is the problem.... any suggestions.

I loaded the software, let it auto patch, and loaded the patch listed above and I get "This program cannot display the webpage" after clicking the refresh button in those 2 fields.  I also tried the second IP address and it always comes up as the server is down.

Until your game is completely udpated, the pages will not exist. This is normal. The latest version is 7.115 and the install can be auto-updated to this version.

Not letting me create character's (Born place is Selected) no idea whats causing it plz help thx.

I think it is safe to say this is the problem your experiencing -

At the moment the server is down due to the transition from closed beta to open beta. There is a new section in forum to notify members of server status please keep your eye on that section for updates and news on progress =)

i Just start play PDO few minutes ago , but game always crash and lock up my pc.
i try play many times but only last 1 - 5 minutes and PDO client crash ,lock up my pc and monitor screen blank. i can only push reset button. reboot my pc.

any one know what happen and how to fix this problem ?

UHmmm... i can't do anything when game crash it just hang my pc and my screen blank. what i can do is push the button . so i can't take screen shot. oh the game start to crash when i take the begining quest .
