I have an error that shows, "Server address is incorrect or Server down for maintence." Even though I know the server is up

EXCUSE ME I HAVE A QUESTION?!
WHY IF I PUT MY ACCOUNT ID AND PASSWORD AND CLICK ENTER AFTER THAT BLACK SCREEN AND A CURSOR AFTER THAT IT POP UP AN ERROR THAT SAYS "FAILED TO INITIALIZE.ENSURE CLIENT FILE IS AUTHENTIC OR CONTACT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER...

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?!
I WANT TO PLAY PDO BUT I CANNOT?!

Hi, I just downloaded yesterday then downloaded the patch, installed and registered today... When I try to start the game, I get this message in a popup box called "Clue":    Server address is incorrect or Server is down for maintenance.  I did see the thread that the server is up and running, so I'm not sure what the problem is...  Thanks for any help!!

i fill in the registration form, evything is ok email under 32chars no underscores wen i submit i gewt a 500error i wanna get registered asap please help

Yes I'm having the same problem? I don't have any remote idea on what to do?

It means you either A: Got it from the wrong site or B: the download is faulty. It's saying that the client file cannot load and run, the client file being the game.

And yes, I have the latest client installed.

Same happend to me right after i logged out and restarted my comp..

Ah, it's just my luck. I believe the problem happened just now; basically, when I just tried to log in for the first time.

Hi , im using Window vista home esition .My graphic card is 244 MB . i dont know why it's now support 3D , and the game can not accept me log in . How can i fix this problem . help me pla

The following problems have been passed onto technical staff to work on:

• Problem one:

Just downloaded client and tried to log in to receive the message “Ensure client file”

• Problem two:

Error message when entering game “Server address is incorrect or Server down for maintenance” while server is up.

• Problem three:

Error message when entering game “Failed to initialise, ensure client file is authentic or contact the customer service centre”.

• Problem four:

Error message when entering game “Data exchange error between the client and the list server occurred. Please try again later or download latest client patch in official website”.

The solutions to the above problems will be posted once available, so please remain patient.

@ Guest poster who encountered registration problem please try part two of the registration problem suggestion which is the following "SIDE NOTE: If you still have problems registering and your account is less then 32 characters try using a email with less then 20 characters and limited underscores where possible as this will solve the problem."

In future if you encounter a log in issue and it is not yet posted in this thread then please read and follow the instructions on the following thread so that a solution can be found.

Ok, I have downloaded and installed 3 times, my comp meets the requirements etc. I log in and get a blackscreen and then the game freezes. Finally get it to close and try again, same thing. Any clue how to fix this? Warning I am not great with the technical stuff, so explain it in words I can understand please.
